I’m a television writer, psuedo-journalist and budding scholar currently based in the Greater Philadelphia area.
I enjoy toeing the line between professionalism and authentic enthusiasm. As such, I frequently cover special events and social trends. I worked as a columnist, Greek life beat reporter and A&E writer for The Temple News for three quarters of my undergraduate career at Temple University. Check out archives of my work for TTN here.
During my senior year at Temple University, I completed an honors scholar research project with the support of my two excellent mentors, Dr. Brooke Duffy (advertising) and Dr. Matt Wray (sociology), as well as a CARAS grant from Temple University Vice Provost.
In the fall of 2013, I explored the phenomenon of selfies in the form of an independent tumblr project.
In the spring of 2014, I served as a research intern for writer and curator Marvin Heiferman.
My research interests include cultural studies, visual communication and mass media/advertising.
